In the blink of an eye, we are down to the last week of January.
Onanole Weather Report…lol
January brought us mild winter conditions to start of the first week of school which then exploded to minus ridiculous conditions that forced many indoor recesses. Who says that March is the month of the Lion or Lamb!! I think times are changing.
The Grade 1-4 ski trips was postponed twice so far this month due to extreme windchills and is rescheduled for Feb 4th. Fingers crossed that the weather is going to be on the kids’ side for this anticipated day. So far it looks like decent conditions for a fun day on the hill at Ski Valley.
Mrs. Ryznar and the Jr. High Curling Team of Jayden, Dylan, Meadow, and Hayden have been practicing every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to the RRSD Bonspiel on February 9th. For extra practice our curling team had the opportunity to play a few games against Rapid City and Douglas on the 30th of January. We wish them all the best at the Bonspiel. GO WILD!
Mrs. Clark and Miss Krahn are again busy fundraising for their classes this month with a Pizza week and another Movie night. They would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. The K to 4 classes looks forward to their field trips thanks to everyone who contributed to their fundraising efforts.
