Knowledge Keeper, Debbie Huntinghawk spent the day with us on the 4th of December.  She spent the day going from class to class speaking about the Medicine Wheel and singing a few songs.  The grade 5/6 class had the opportunity to reconnect with Debbie and some students shared a hobby of collecting rocks and brought some from home to show her.  Thank you for visiting our school, Debbie.

Staff and students were busy preparing practicing and getting ready for the upcoming Christmas concert that was held on December 16.  We had performances from the kindergarten class, Grade 1 / 4, grade 5/6, grade 7/8, and the Dance Club.

The kindergarten class welcomed everyone and kicked off the concert with a poem, “5 Little Reindeer.”

The students in Grades 1 to 4 performed the play, “Santa Goes Green!”.

Grade 5 and 6 acted out the humorous,” The Big Bad Wolf’s Trial and the Grade 7/8 Christmas Chaos at the Griswold’s.

Miss Krahn’s Dance Club members performed the toe tapping number, “Santa Goes Green.”  Bravo dance crew, it was fantastic!!!

It was a fun filled evening with lots of laughter and those butterflies that our performers had flew right off stage.  And thank you to all staff members who go above and beyond in assisting with costumes, props, practices and more to help our students achieve their performing goals.

It was a wonderful evening, fantastic job once again!!

And then the storm rolled in to finish off the week.  All Schools were cancelled for the next 3 days.  Kids Can Shop was postponed to January.

However, the Turkey Hot Lunch Fundraiser, still took place on the 19th and the Christmas Cheer donations were gathered, boxed and delivered.  Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the Turkey Lunch.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  And those who helped with the Christmas Cheer-Thank you so much for braving the storm to make someone’s Christmas just a bit more Christmassy.

See you all in 2026!!!!
