On Wednesday, April 10th OES, along with some other schools in our Division, celebrated International Day of PINK. We showed our support by wearing either pink t-shirts or used face paint to draw pink hearts.
This movement was started by two young men, David Sheppard and Travis Price, who heard about a 9 year old boy that was teased and bullied by other students just because he chose to wear a pink shirt on his first day of school.
David and Travis did something about it! Please click on the link to learn the story!

This is definitely proof that ones act of kindness can help to make this world a better place!!
