On Wednesday, November 10th Onanole School held their Virtual Remembrance Day Service. The staff and students were honored to have school alumni Clay Cochrane join us via Teams on this day. Clay attended school here in Onanole and continued onto graduating from Erickson Collegiate. Right after graduation he enlisted in the Canadian Forces. Clay served 30 years and retired just last year on the same day he started, Nov 11th.
Students were able to ask Clay some questions and stayed on call to see and hear all poems and presentations. It was so nice for Clay to attend our service, even if it was a 12 hour time difference coming all the way from the United Arab Emirates.
